This is a very important Blog. I'll keep it very brief, and non-pornographic. Usually I would make some kind of sexual joke or even find a way to connect the subject matter to an image that would be eerily representative of what I wanted to talk about. But not this time. So on with the blog.On November 4th 2008 history was made.Senator Barack Obama of Illinois defeated Senator John McCain of Arizona in the nations biggest election. That of the office of President of the United States of America. This is historical not because we just have another democrat back in the Seat of the Chair of the highest honor in the nation,
but that it was obtained by the FIRST African American in the history of this nation. Barack Obama won 24 states vs John McCains 19 states. Barack his wife Michelle and his two daughters are now the face of the nation as the first Black Family to soon occupy
the White House. Barack is now the First African
American President which is a great moment in the history of Black America. It shows you that the 400+ years of slavery that we have endured plus the numerous fight for Civil rights that we have had , it only proves that America is the true place of opportunity and that Martin Luther Kings Dream that we shall overcome has come true. This has been the Biggest and most Historical race in the history of the world. From Hillary Clinton and Barack running on the democratic party ticket, to John McCain who picked Sara Palin who was nominated as the first female Vice Presidential Nominee on the Republican Party Ticket.Barack Obama has been elected to be the 44th President of the United States of America. He is the first Black President and his wife is the first Black First Lady. It makes me proud to be alive at this time and have excercised my right to vote in this. This is a great time in our nation and it makes me even prouder to be a Black Man in this United States of America. Because we all try to achieve greatness. Barack proves that we all can.
